Why Did You Turn Back, O Jordan?

Listen to the Message
God wants us to experience abundant life.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
We find our confidence and security y in what Jesus has done —
  • Not in what we have done
  • Not in what we have NOT done
  • Not in what someone has left us with
God always delivers on His promises, no matter how small that promise is.
We need to understand that God has a different time table than we do.
“It was the harvest season, and the Jordan was overflowing its banks. But as soon as the feet of the priests who were carrying the Ark touched the water at the river’s edge,” ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭3:15‬ ‭NLT‬‬
Sometimes we miss miracles because we’re looking for the same outcome!
When Jesus gets involved in your life, there is a stoppage, it is completely shut off - the FLOOD of shame , guilt and temptation
God has cut it off all the way back to the first man who got us into this mess to begin with.
The ground is dry!
1 John 4:17 - This is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgement, because as he is so also are we in thus world.
Psalm 114:5 What ails you, O sea, that you flee? I Jordan, that you turn back?
