The Road To Greatness

Listen to the Messsage

Acts 9:1-22

"The time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God." (John 16:2)

The world is a different place because of this man Paul.

The story that begins with Paul on the road to Damascus, ends with Paul on the road to greatness.

When Paul set foot for Damascus that day, he thought he was on the road to revenge.

That started him on the road to greatness.

1. The Road to Greatness Has an Open Lane for Everyone.

We need to remember this, when we think of those who are beyond hope.

No one is too far gone to be any good to God.

See them as a project.

2. The road to greatness is uphill all the way.

The fact is, life is sometimes hard.

I'm convinced that a Christian has the advantage in facing hard times.

Our job is to make a difference.

Followers of Jesus must choose conviction over convenience every time.

God said of the Apostle Paul that "he is my chosen instrument."

The road to greatness is an uphill climb, but it's worth it, every step of the way.

3. The Road To Greatness requires the same steps for everyone.

He had a personal encounter with Christ.

Paul was baptized.

He was filled with the Holy Spirit.

Paul immediately began fellowshipping with believers.

Paul immediately began telling people about Jesus.

Paul took steps to grow in the Christian faith.

"What's the next step for me?"

You can be God's chosen instrument.

Are you ready?
