Listen to the Message
Psalm 105:1-5
There are ways you know today isn't going to be a great day.
The problem is that a day that begins off-track has less of a chance to end up on-track.
If you want to "win the day" so to speak, learn get an early lead.
Goodness and faithfulness of God.
1. Start Each Day with a Thank You.
-
Grateful people .............
-
If you don't have a tendency toward gratitude, I urge you to develop it.
-
Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! (Psalm 100:4)
-
A heart filled with gratitude leads to a heart filled with praise.
-
God, thank for loving me regardless of how I feel.
2. Make a list of God's goodness and refer to it often.
-
Our problem is that we tend to forget all the times that
-
God has come through for us.
-
Remember.
-
Remember the wondrous works that He has done.
-
God comes through for us so often.
3. Move forward in full pursuit of God's presence.
-
God is with you always.
-
Am I with him?
-
Believing in God but living as though He doesn't exist.
-
This means you look at Him, and you look to Him.
-
Every day you will face challenges that are bigger than you are.
-
Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always. (1 Chronicles 16:11)
-
Spending the day in the awareness of God's abiding presence is a pathway to joy.
-
"maximize the outcome"
-
Get an early lead on the day, because the early lead gets the win.
-
We can give thanks for what we do have and experience the peace of God that transcends all understanding.
