Listen to the Message
John 3:16
"Yes, I'm a self-made man, but my dad made the blue print."
• A father loves.
-
This kind of unconditional love is something you have to develop.
-
This is unconditional love, and virtually all parents have it.
-
It's based on the fact that we are His.
-
We don't say it and we don't show it.
-
God tells us He loves us, and He shows His love for us.
• A father gives.
-
He sent Jesus into the world to die for our sins, so that we could be forgiven and live with Him forever.
-
An abundance of one doesn't negate the need for the other.
-
Being a father requires sacrifices on our part.
-
Your kids may never fully understand how much you sacrifice for them.
-
Your heavenly father is always available.
• A father requires.
-
God requires that we believe in Him.
-
We don't have the capacity to be perfect.
-
"This is the way we live, and nothing less is acceptable."
-
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
-
(Joshua 14:15).
• A father prepares his child for the future.
-
God has created a future for you and me.
-
Our heavenly father has prepared a future for us in heaven.
-
Research has established that parents can have a significant impact on the religious beliefs and practices of their children.
-
"Dear Paco, Meet me in front of the newspaper office at noon. All is forgiven. I love you. Your father."
