Listen to the Message

Ephesians 3:8-10
God’s extraordinary plan is revealed as we live our lives.
The opposite of extraordinary is normal!
"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13)
Grace empowers us beyond our ability.
We must understand the benefit of His grace so freely given.
"The ability, right, or permission to approach, enter, speak with, or use"
Exceedingly great and precious promises
God intends for us to live meaningful lives.
"I have come that you may have life, and have it abundantly." (John 10:10)
• Drive
  • "Don't settle for a tie."
  • I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14)
  • It's a tragedy when someone with talent drifts through life, settling for mediocrity.
  • He was running his race in such a way as to win.
• Direction
  • "Where am I going?"
  • a. You must have a plan.
  • It is crucial for each of us to develop a plan by which we can accomplish the most with our lives.
  • b. You must be persistent.
  • "My God-given talent is my ability to stick with something longer than anyone else."
  • Success is just getting up one more time than you fall down.
• Discipline
  • We will not experience holiness without some effort on our part.
  • You don’t nonchalantly cruise into a life of holiness.
  • If anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor's crown unless he competes according to the rules. (2 Timothy 2:5)
  • For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. (Romans 8:13)
  • God's plan is for us to lead a life full of meaning and purpose.
  • "Well done, good and faithful servant."
