1 Timothy 3:4
The Good Wife's Guide:
I'm glad things have changed, and I think they've improved.
That is a tall order.
We have a problem!
Matthew 6:33 (NIV) "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
#1. Boys will be boys.
1 Samuel 2:12 (NIV) "Eli's sons were wicked men; they had
no regard for the Lord."
He failed to manage his family.
Eli was weak in the disciplines of......
What a Father Does .
A father is essential in the development of his children's sense of values.
#2. Big boys don’t cry.
John 11:35 (NIV) "Jesus wept."
"We had better teach our sons mercy. A man who curses his father…curses his own manhood.”
Fathers give daughters away to other men who aren’t nearly good enough so they can have smarter grandchildren than anyone else.
That scripture reveals a tender, compassionate part of our Lord.
Big boys DO cry.
"We've started everything together. We'll finish this together."
# 3. Like father – like son.
Joshua 24:15(b)(NIV) "…But as for me and my household, we
will serve the Lord."
"I'll be like you."
His desire to leave a Christian heritage was the most important goal
of his life.
Like father – like son is an absolute.
Never give up trying to build a good family.
"He's the man!"
Make sure they know the place God has in your life.
