Ephesians 2:14-22

1. The quality of the sermons that are preached.
2. How friendly the people in the church are to visitors.
3. The quality of the programs and classes for children.
4. How much you like the pastor.
5. The convenience of the times of the weekend services.

"Some churches seem to be sound in doctrine, but they are also sound asleep."
If we do not have the Spirit's power flowing through us, we do not have enough to put out hell's fire.
#1. The Church is the Body of Christ.
The Church is not a
· committee,
· building,
· relief organization,
· religious supermarket,
· crisis center.
We are the Body of Christ, which is also the Bride of Christ, of which He is the head.
Ephesians 5:1, 2 (NIV) "Be imitators of God, therefore,
as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ
loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and
sacrifice to God."
# 2. The Church is to develop spiritual maturity
All of us are on a spiritual journey.
The responsibility of the Church is to remind the Body of its
responsibility to its original purpose.
Ephesians 4:16 (NIV) "From Him, the whole Body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work."
"The church is a workshop and not a dormitory."
#3. The Church is to evangelize the unbelieving world.
Nineteen out of every 20 who get saved do so before they
reach the age of 25.
After 25, only one in 10,000.
After 45, only one in 200,000.
After 65, only one in 500,000.
Matthew 28:19, 20.
· Go!
· Make disciples.
· All nations.
· Baptize them.
· Teach them to obey the Scripture.
· I command you to do it.
· I will guide you.
The Church does not exist for me; I exist for the church.
Galatians 6:10 "As we have therefore opportunity, let
us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the
household of faith."
The ground is level at the foot of the cross.
Your life is now about the person God is making you to be.
You are more than a conqueror, empowered to live a victorious
life.
