Not everyone was happy.
The closer you get to doing what God wants done......
You face spiritual opposition when you're doing something right.
#1. Your enemy will try to distract you.
Little ones that are repeated over and over become big.
"I'm not coming down."
Nehemiah 6:2-3 "But they were scheming to harm me so I sent messengers to them with this reply: ‘I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down…'"

#2. Your enemy will try to discredit you.
(1) Discredit you by spreading rumors.
Nehemiah 6:5 "Then, the fifth time, Sanballat sent his aide to me with the same message, and in his hand was an unsealed letter."
What were they doing?
You face it for doing something right.
(2) Tempt you to compromise.
That's what the enemy wants to do.
The closer you get to doing what God wants done.......
“I’m not coming down. I must continue to work.”
“I’m not available; I’m not for purchase; I will not go.”
"Don't get off the wall and don't go down the path that others may want you to go down. Be led by the Holy Spirit."
Every one of us is called with a purpose.
He uses ordinary people and gives them extraordinary callings.
He calls you to accomplish His task.
“There is no quit in a spirit-filled anointed follower of Jesus Christ.”
I’m not quitting; I’m coming back.
God could do anything.
“Do not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up or faint.”
