You have a purpose.
You have a purpose, a reason for being here, and a role to play.
We are not saved by works, but we're created for the purpose of doing good works.
"He went around doing good." (Acts 10:38)
We're called to a life of service.
1. A Life of Service Brings Benefit to Others.

Their ability to focus on something other than themselves.

The purpose of the gift is not to bring glory to you, but to bring glory to God.

We're not doing good works for the good of ourselves.

Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory... (Psalm 115:1)

Will my actions today draw attention to me, or to God?
3. A Life of Service Brings You Closer to God.
-
SERVE.
-
The Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve.
-
God's long-range plan for your life is that you become like Jesus

Your service to God is essential.
